Except for peak mid-summer periods and holidays, our rates are flexible to market conditions. So do yourself a favor and call us for our best rate. Room Rates:

are based on a two night stay except: Peak periods, special events and holidays may require a longer minimum stay
are also based on two person occupancy except the Chalet 2-BR rate is for four persons. Additional persons over one year old add $10 per night up to the listed capacity of the room.
are subject to change without notice. Discounts/specials for direct bookings only. Call for agency quotes. 7.7% sales tax plus 1% improvement fee will be added.

Deposit: Deposit of two nights lodging or one half of total stay, whichever is greater, is paid at time of reservation. Deposit payment is accepted by Cash, Check, Visa, MC, Discover and Am.EX. If time allows, we may require a check or cash. Balance is due on arrival in Cash or CC.

Cancellation: 60 days or more prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded, less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellation 30 to 60 days prior to arrival, for any reason, the deposit (less a cancell fee equal to one nights rent) is non-refundable but may be used for a rescheduled visit; valid two years. Cancellation less than 30 days preceeding arrival, the deposit is non-refundable and is subject to forfiture.

Guests are responsible for all nights reserved. Refund and rescheduling is not available for early departure or late arrival.

Confirmation will be sent and guests are responsible for verifying the accuracy of dates and other details. A change in registered name, dates or number of all persons including infants must be arranged in advance; additional persons may not be added at time of arrival. At registration, guests provide a signed agreement to the no smoking, no pets, visitor and cancellation policies described herein. Driver's license and valid credit card are required.

Pets, Tobacco and Smoking Prohibited on Premise

The Appenzell Inn offers a haven to Nonsmokers and Allergy Sufferers who choose, and must rely on,
a totally smoke-free environment. Pets and tobacco products may not be brought onto these hotel grounds.

Smoking prohibited in buildings, on decks, drives, lawns & walkways.

To insure the trust and enjoyment of all our Guests, The Inn responds to violations with immediate eviction and an additional room charge of $250 plus cleaning costs. The Registered Guest is responsible for Suite occupants and visitors.

Visitors: Day visitors of our registered guests are permitted on a limited basis. Please visit the Front Desk for information and pre-registration of a visitor. The swimming pool, ponds and other facilities at the Inn are reserved for the use and enjoyment of our registered Guests. The Pub is open to the public.

Groups, Weddings, Meetings: The Appenzell is a small resort property with ponds, an Indoor pool, a cozy Pub and suites designed for couples and small-family groups. Group gatherings are arranged on a limited basis, so please call to inquire about your small intimate wedding or any other group reservations.

Housekeeping: Suites serviced daily and include fresh towels, coffee and trash removal. Linens changed on alternate days. Other housekeeping services arranged at 15% of room rate.

Special Occasion Packages and Gift Certificates: Getaway, romance or relaxation packages; welcome baskets, flowers, massage, dining, chocolates, wines and champagne.
